SANTO ANTÔNIO DE PÁDUA FOI SEDE DE 4° ENCONTRO DE VEREADORAS DO ESTADO DO RIO
Vereadoras de todo o Estado do Rio se reuniram, em Santo Antônio de Pádua, nesta sexta feira, dia 28 de junho, para o 4° Encontro Estadual de Vereadoras.
O Evento, com o tema “Vereadoras unidas, Municípios Fortalecidos”, tem por objetivo o fortalecimento das vereadoras, enquanto representantes municipais e reivindicações únicas de políticas públicas para as mulheres nas esferas municipal, estadual e federal, além de fortalecer, estimular e trabalhar o interesse da mulher ingressar na política.
Hoje o eleitorado feminino é majoritário, 52 por cento, no entanto, são poucas a mulheres eleitas. Segundo levantamentos atualmente são 98 Vereadoras compondo as Câmaras Municipais em todo o estado.
Presidente da Câmara de Vereadores de Santo Antônio de Pádua, a Vereadora Vanderléia Marques Franco Souza, acredita que através de ações e projetos esse quadro poderá mudar em um futuro próximo. “Lugar de mulher é na política sim, na verdade, lugar de mulher é onde ela quiser”, acrescenta a Vereadora Paduana.
Esse foi o quarto evento de vereadoras, os três primeiros aconteceram em Nova Friburgo, Búzios e Angra dos Reis.
A Superintendente Estadual de Enfrentamento As Violências Contra Mulher, da Secretaria Estadual de Desenvolvimento Social e Direitos Humanos, Luciana Moreira V. Rodrigues, foi a primeira palestrante do dia, com o tema: Políticas Públicas para Mulher e o Empoderamento da Mulher.
A segunda palestra do evento, foi apresentada por Luísa Maria de Oliveira Silva, Coordenadora do projeto Moça Bonita, do Município de Cabo Frio.
Após o almoço, finalizando o encontro, as vereadoras visitaram duas instituições Paduanas de acolhimento à idosos, o LEAN – Lar Evangélico do Ancião e o Asilo Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
A ideia de realizar esses encontros surgiu após um grupo de vereadoras do Noroeste Fluminense formarem uma Comissão de Vereadoras. Após o fortalecimento desta comissão a intensão é criar uma Associação de Vereadoras.
